Acrab:

star
located
in

constellation
Scorpius,

the
Scorpion.
It
is
one
of
the
brightest
stars
in
the
constellation
and

the

eye
in
the

hemisphere. The
name
Acrab
comes
from
the
Arabic
word
for
"scorpion,"

It
has

as
Graffias,
a
name
derived
from
Greek

star
system,

it

stars

around
a
common
center
of
mass.
The
two
stars
are
very
close
to
each
other
and
cannot
be
seen
separately

eye.
They
orbit
each
other
every
10.5
days. The
star
system
is
located
at
a
distance
of
about
520
light-years
from
Earth.
It
has
a
mass
18
times
that
of
the
Sun
and
is
about
1,200
times
brighter.
It
radiates
a
blue-white
color
and
is
classified
as
a
rare
B0
Ve
main
sequence
star. Despite
its

Acrab
